Pat is a Leadership Expert, Certified Life Coach and Inspirational Speaker dedicated to mentoring new, emerging and experienced leaders to advance in their business, career and their life.
Pat E. Perkins focuses on helping leaders design S.M.A.R.T goals, take massive action and obtain sustainable results. Pat specializes in providing coaching and mentoring, facilitated retreats, workshops, and training, and inspirational speaking on the following topics: leadership, communication, executive presence, managing stakeholder satisfaction, team building, and work life balance or integration.
As a native of Chicago, Pat understands hard work, and believes “to whom much is given, much is required”. Bringing over 20 years of corporate experience into her coaching engagements, Pat has a proven track record of achieving results and a unique background in Personal, Professional and Business Development including Team Building and Program Management.
Pat’s corporate career granted her the opportunity to work in leadership positions with such billion dollar firms as RR Donnelley, Sara Lee Corporation, AON Corporation and Hewitt Associates. While serving these organizations, she has lead, trained and coached teams in size from 5 – 50+ to execute projects and programs ranging from $1M – $100MM in budget. Her primary focus areas have been in the Sales and Marketing, Finance and Administration and Information Technology.
Each month, Pat inspires thousands of subscribers through her ADVANCE! eNewsletter filled with tips, strategies and success stories. She also has been featured in Black Enterprise and interviewed on Blog Talk Radio.
Pat is a certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) through the Coaches Training Institute and holds the distinguished Project Management Professional (PMP) designation from the Project Management Institute. In addition, she earned a Master’s Degree from Roosevelt University.
In an opportunity to give back, Pat has served as an eWomenNetwork Premier Success Coach and on the Chicago Executive Boards of the International Coach Federation (ICF), the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. and the Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA). Some of her professional memberships include: eWomenNetwork, International Coach Federation (ICF) and Engaging Speakers.
